SECS/GEM Workbench
Semiconductor equipment↔host protocol decoder and simulator — HSMS sessions, SECS-II trees, host or equipment role.
What brings you here.
The situations this instrument was built for — and what it does about each one.
Fab integration work cannot wait on a real tool being free.
A scenario file of received SxFy → reply rules lets the workbench answer a real host as the equipment.
Debugging SECS-II means matching bytes to structures by hand.
Every frame decodes to a tree with the exact byte range of every node — click a byte, the owning node lights up.
SEMI standards are licensed material; guessed constants are worse than none.
Wire constants live behind one gate file you fill from your own copy of the standards — no rebuild, no code change.

Scenario-driven simulator (S1F13 and beyond)
Session logging and replay
What you'll see.
Every frame is decoded to a structure tree with the exact byte range of every node — click a byte, the owning node is selected; select a node, its bytes light up. Drive a full HSMS session with transaction matching and T3/T5/T6/T7/T8 timers, or answer a real host from a scenario file of received SxFy → reply rules.
Message browser
Sessions append to a JSON Lines log that keeps the raw wire bytes; reopen a log and the whole conversation comes back into the browser. Favourites resend under fresh system bytes, never a replayed transaction id.

The gate: SEMI wire constants are not guessed
The SEMI wire constants come from licensed standards documents, so they are not in the repository. Fill in spec/secs-reference.md from your own copy of the standards and the whole product comes alive — no rebuild, no code change.

One file.
Copy it and run.
No installer, no package manager, no service account. Move the executable onto the air-gapped machine and open your work.
Quick answers
Does SECS/GEM Workbench work offline?
Yes. Like every NOKTRA instrument it is offline-first: no cloud services, no telemetry, and any AI runs locally on your own machine. It is built for air-gapped networks.
What platform does SECS/GEM Workbench run on?
Windows 10/11 x64. It ships as a single executable — no runtime install.
Is SECS/GEM Workbench available for download now?
Not yet — it is in development. It is listed with no promised date, until a build exists you can run.
