//00 NEEDS

What brings you here.

The situations this instrument was built for — and what it does about each one.

Need 01

The established reliability suites cost more than a small team can justify.

Answer

Reliability prediction, RBD availability and FMECA in one small, auditable offline tool.

Need 02

In a folder of spreadsheets, nobody can reconstruct where a number came from six months later.

Answer

Every figure carries the formula and the substituted inputs it came from, and the report writes both out next to the value.

Need 03

An audit asks exactly which standard text produced the numbers.

Answer

Handbook models apply only where transcribed into spec/ with a page citation, and every report states which excerpts were in force.

//00 IN PRACTICE

What you'll see.

Reliability engineering sits in an awkward gap: the established suites cost more than a small team can justify, and the alternative is a folder of spreadsheets where nobody can reconstruct where a number came from six months later. This is a small, auditable tool for that gap — every figure carries the formula and the substituted inputs it came from.

01

Reliability block diagram editor

Series, parallel and k-out-of-n groups, nested freely. System reliability R(t), steady-state availability A and an equivalent MTBF, recomputed as you type — with a calculation trace showing exactly how the figure was reached.

Failure rate prediction

A parts list totalling to λ and a predicted MTBF. MIL-HDBK-217F part-stress models are applied only where a human has transcribed them into spec/ with a page citation — no handbook constant is compiled into the toolkit.

FMECA worksheet

MIL-STD-1629A worksheet columns, RPN = S × O × D, sort by risk and free-text filter. Anything the tool cannot compute is reported as an issue with the path to the offending item, rather than silently omitted or guessed at.

Reports with the math shown

Self-contained HTML and RFC 4180 CSV. Every number is printed beside its formula and its inputs, and every report states which standards excerpts were in force when it was generated.

//00 FAQ

Quick answers

Does RAM Toolkit work offline?

Yes. Like every NOKTRA instrument it is offline-first: no cloud services, no telemetry, and any AI runs locally on your own machine. It is built for air-gapped networks.

What platform does RAM Toolkit run on?

Windows 10/11 x64. It ships as a single executable — no runtime install.

Is RAM Toolkit available for download now?

Not yet — it is in development. It is listed with no promised date, until a build exists you can run.
